Step right up for the artistic funhouse of Infinity Mirrors at Washington, D.C.’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. Opening today and running through May 14, the exhibit features several of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama’s mirror-paneled rooms that reflect motifs of spotted pumpkins, flashing lights, and more. Visitors can apply colored sticker dots on white furnishings in one installation, contributing to a work in progress. The show also features more than 60 of Kusama’s paintings and sculptures, with timed tickets to eliminate a carnival-like crush.
After D.C., the exhibit jumps coasts to the Seattle Art Museum (June through September) before wrapping up the year at L.A.’s new Broad museum.
